Founded in 1990 by President Tom Connelly, Stellar initially operated in a 60,000 sq. ft. facility in Hazelwood and primarily provided services to the pool chemical industry. Today, Stellar operates in a 392,000 sq. ft. custom built facility in Sauget, Illinois, employs over 100 people and provides services to companies across a variety of industries. After a quarter decade Stellar is known nationwide in the chemical industry as a leader in solid chemical processing and has built a solid reputation for quality customer service.

Reflecting on the past 25 years Mr. Connelley states, “I have been fortunate to have been surrounded by bright, thoughtful colleagues who care about our clients, our community and each other. Stellar Manufacturing continues to look towards the future with a variety of new initiatives. Stellar Manufacturing Launches Customer Service Initiative

Sauget, IL – October 1, 2014 – Stellar Manufacturing, a contract manufacturer specializing in solid particle processing for water treatment, agricultural and industrial chemicals, is pleased to announce their new customer service initiative will be led by recent hires Ben Wodicker and Wayne Sinnock.   This new initiative will seek to expand Stellar’s presence into under-served industries, and to further enhance the customer experience at Stellar.  Mr. Wodicker and Mr. Sinnock will work directly with senior management, particularly, Robert Sullivan, Director of Sales to achieve these goals.

Mr. Wodicker will act as Director of Business Development and will formulate Stellar’s strategy for targeting customers in new and underserved markets and deliver relevant information to a variety of key industries. Previously, Mr. Wodicker has successfully led business development and marketing teams offering services and products to Fortune 500 and 1000 pharmaceutical and specialty chemical companies.  Mr. Sinnock, Customer Service Manager, will be responsible for day-to-day customer interactions and will be the first point of contact for the needs of current customers.  Mr. Sinnock’s past experience includes managing customer satisfaction and logistics at leading chemical and manufacturing companies, and will be key to maintaining and extending customer retention.  In addition to personnel changes, Stellar will be revamping its corporate image and messaging to appeal to new industries which will include an updated website and marketing materials.
